RRTS is Ragional Rapid Transit System also called rapid rail corridor that will connect Delhi, Ghaziabad and Meerut. There are total 22 number of stations. For few stations rapid rail has been started and the remaining stations work is under progress that would be completed soon.
Total distance that would be cover under Delhi - Meerut RRTS is an 82.15km. It will have 22 stations and two depots at Duhai and Modipuram. The speed of this RRTS would be 180km/h, with this speed it will cover 82.15km distance in 60 minutes. This corridor will start from Sarai Kale Khan station in Delhi.
In this project priority corridor was from Sahibabad to Duhai that was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on 20 October 2023.
Name of Stations:
Sarai Kale Khan, New Ashok Nagar, Anand Vihar, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai, Muradnagar, Modinaga South, Modinagar North, Meerut South, Shatabdi Nagar, Begumpul, Modipuram.
Remaining 8 stations were constructed for loacl transit services in Meerut.

Partapur, Rithani, Brahmapuri, Meerut Central, Bhaisali, MES Colony, Daurli, Meerut North.
RRTS stations facilities:
Passengers will get the facility to travel in both RRTS and MRTS from Modipuram stations. From all the RRTS stations, Begumpul RRTS station is an underground stations which will serve the local meerut along with regional trains in meerut. Shatabdi station will be very convenient to travel towards Delhi and Modipuram. Meerut South RRTS will provide the facility of RRTS as well as Meerut metro. Duhai Depot will house the operational control center of the RRTS corridor. All the stations of RRTS have their special quality.
